Fluid Structure

Fluid Structure is inspired by the Ball Family and their world renown in the glass industry.  In an effort to continue to authentically incorporate science and art, we researched the molecular structure of both glass and quartz as inspiration for the final design aesthetic.  The work consists of four layers of "molecules," two transparent and two solid.  The depth and transparency of the piece create interesting shadows and color effects on the wall.
